Good morning, dear friend! ☀️
I took this sunrise photo this morning from the top of the hill near our home.
The sunrise takes my breath away every time!
As I watched all the cars going by on the interstate in the distance, I felt so incredibly grateful for the slow pace of my life that allows me to take a walk in the morning instead of driving on the interstate to get to work.
I have so many things to be thankful for. 💜
What are you grateful for this morning?
Today, I want to teach you one of my favorite tools from Access Consciousness.
It's called: "Who does this belong to?"
Do you notice that you sometimes feel heavy from the weight of the world around you?
Can you sense the trauma and drama that other people in your life have chosen?
Do you tend to take on the negative emotions of others that don't even belong to you?
Sometimes we do this without even being aware of it.
All of a sudden, we'll start feeling sad or anxious or angry for no apparent reason or we'll have a judgment about someone pop up in our minds.
Dr. Dain Heer of Access Consciousness teaches that 98% of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions don't even belong to us, and we are picking them up from the outside world since we are like radio receivers.
Have you decided that you want to be more loving and kind lately and then you notice that you're judging yourself and others like crazy?
You are likely picking up on the judgments that those other people have of themselves and the judgments that other people have placed on you.
Are you ready to let all of that heaviness go so that you can love yourself, love the people in your life, and love the life that you are living?
Whenever you notice that you don't feel very happy, silently ask: "Who does this belong to?"
If you suddenly feel lighter and happier, the heaviness doesn't belong to you, and you can say, "Return to sender with love".
You will be amazed by how much lighter you feel when you ask yourself this simple question several times throughout your day.
"Who does this belong to?"
Keep in mind that some of your thoughts and emotions actually do belong to you.
If the heaviness remains after you ask this question, you get to dig deeper.
What are you choosing to believe that is no longer serving you?
This is a great opportunity to shift to thoughts and beliefs that feel light when you think them.
As Dr. Dain also teaches, what feels light to you is right for you.
Your truth will feel light and expansive in your body.
If something feels heavy in your gut, it is not true for you.
Let it go.
Return it to sender with love.
Enjoy your newfound sense of freedom as you play with "Who does this belong to?"
Much love to you,
Amber
