Good morning, beautiful soul! 💜
I am so excited to be here talking with you today about the power of choice! 🙂
Over the weekend, I was thinking about what aspect of money to discuss with you this week, and I felt inspired to share with you a very powerful story that led us to our current beliefs around money.
I think you will gain some valuable insights from hearing about the empowering journey that we've been on in our relationship with money.
We used to believe that money had to come before choice.
We didn't make a choice until we had money in the bank to pay for it.
Yes, we had dreams, but many of them seemed so far off since we couldn't see how the money would come to pay for them.
We were limiting the choices that we made and the amount of money that we were willing to receive.
After my emergency hysterectomy in 2011, we knew we weren't done growing our family.
We really wanted to pursue surrogacy, but once we had our initial appointment at a fertility clinic and found out the costs involved just in the IVF process (let alone the entire surrogacy process), we felt defeated and powerless to choose what we actually wanted to choose.
We then chose to pursue the option of expanding our family through the journey of adoption, and while we gained excitement for adopting a baby boy and threw ourselves into that process 100%, our hearts still longed for a biological son.
The heart wants what the heart wants.
(You never have to explain or defend your heart's desires.)
We spent time heavily grieving the fact that we would never have a biological son.
Do you see how we were allowing our limited perception of money to take away our ability to choose what we actually wanted?
Well, life didn't allow us to settle for anything less than our hearts' desires.
The door slammed shut on our adoption journey, and the most beautiful path to surrogacy revealed itself to us- starting with our amazing surrogate Jerica offering to grow our baby for us. ❤️
Money showed up in amazing ways every time we needed it, and by the end of the journey, a whopping $80,000 had made its way to us so that we could welcome Kip into our lives debt-free.
(He is the sweet little boy pictured in today's letter who was very excited about the neighborhood Easter egg hunt on Saturday. 😊)
What I'm trying to help you understand is that money wants to support you in all of your dreams.
When you ask for something, life immediately says, "YES!"
The only reason you don't immediately receive what you're asking for is because you don't believe that you deserve it.
You think you have to earn it first.
You also think you have to have all of the money in your bank account right now to pay for it.
If money wasn't an issue, what would you choose right now?
I invite you to start making choices in the direction of your dreams even if you don't know where the money is going to come from.
The money will come.
Will you choose to trust that money wants to support all of your dreams?
Chad and I are choosing to trust that money will support us in retiring him from the state patrol in 2 years so that we can spend lots of time together creating fun relationship programs in our business.
It has always been my dream for us to do some type of relationship/marriage mentoring together, and retiring him will be a huge step in helping us reach thousands of people with our work.
We dream BIG over here.
Sometimes we still have doubts when we have bigger and bigger dreams, but we always return to our knowing that life loves us, our dreams are safe guidance, and money wants to surprise and delight us when it seemingly pops up out of thin air. 💸
Your life can be so magical and miraculous when you choose to trust that God/the Universe has your back and wants you to have all of the desires of your heart.
Don't allow the amount of money in your bank account to take away the power of your choice.
Take steps in the direction of your dreams and money will follow.
Before I say goodbye, I want to share with you one of the quotes from the Notes from the Universe on Abundance card deck by Mike Dooley:
It's not a matter of whether or not you can afford it, swing it, or handle it. It's a question of whether or not I can.
And I Can,
The Universe
Have a great week and have fun choosing!
Much love to you,
Amber
