Good morning! 🌞

Today is a very special day in our house! Our baby boy is 6 today! 🎉

Happy Birthday, Kipton! We love you so much, and we are so thankful for the fun and joy that you bring to our lives! 💜

I also want to take a minute to thank Jerica for growing Kip for us in her uterus and for making our very big dream come true. Thank you, Jerica!

We love you! 😘

Going on that surrogacy adventure and facing so many of my deepest fears helped me to shed a lot of the limitations and fears that were keeping me in a very small life.

That's one of the main reasons that I started writing these love letters.

I want you to know that no matter how big or small your dreams are, you absolutely can make them a reality.

I am here to cheer you on and to inspire you with tools that can help you create the life of your dreams- one little step at a time. 💜

Today I'd like to continue our conversation about money.

I am so thankful for each of you who reached out to let me know that it was a meaningful conversation for you.

Money can seem like this thing that is far off in the distance that we have to chase, and we can never quite grasp as much of it as we would like.

I'm here to tell you that money is not what you're really after.

You can stop chasing it.

Sure, money can create change in your life, but you are far more powerful to create changes in your life than money ever could be.

Let's start by talking about what money means to you.

Feel free to write down or simply think about what it would mean to you to have an unlimited supply of money. 💵💵💵

How would that feel?

Take a few minutes to feel this. I will wait....

For some, money means security, stability, freedom, fun, love, ease, status, well-bring, joy, happiness...

Did you know that money is not actually the source of any of these things?

You are.

You can be stable, secure, happy, healthy, and free before money starts flowing easily and effortlessly into your life.

In fact, if you ever want to feel truly abundant, it's important to cultivate feelings of stability, security, joy, happiness, freedom, etc. in your life first.

Something that is very helpful to know (that I learned from Dr. Dain Heer) is that money follows joy- not the other way around.

Having more money might make you happy for a little while, but if you haven't intentionally created a joyful space in your life, that happiness is not going to last.

Money may help you feel more free for a time, but if you aren't making intentional choices to create more freedom in your life, you still won't feel free no matter how much money you have.

Some of the world's wealthiest people don't feel stable, secure, loved, content, joyful, free, healthy, and happy, because money is not the way to get those feelings.

Money can create a lot of change in one's life, but the change only lasts if there is a shift in one's sense of responsibility for creating change.

So, think about why you really want money right now.

In our lives, Chad and I would love to have around $80,000 to pay for years of service with the state patrol so Chad can retire early.

Getting him retired early would mean greater well-being for him, more freedom, more fun, and greater levels of joy.

Now, until we allow that $80,000 to come into our lives (we're still strengthening our receiving muscles over here 😉), we can intentionally create greater well-being by engaging in really good self-care and investing the time and money that we already have into our health and wellness.

We can create more freedom, fun, and joy by making choices that free up our time to do more things that bring us joy.

There are many ways for you and me to create change in our lives that do not require money.

Think about your own big ask right now.

What would it mean to you to have it?

What choices can you make today, tomorrow, and every day after that to intentionally cultivate the feelings that having your big dream would give you?

If you can take baby steps toward your big dream today, awesome! Go for it!

But what I really want you to remember from our conversation today is that if you follow your joy, money (and all the things that you want) will chase you.

Money loves happy people! 😃

It's not so attracted to needy people. 😛

You can start creating your own change today and finding your stability, security, freedom, and joy within yourself.

I hope you have enjoyed this deeper dive into the topic of money, and I can't wait to hear about the changes that you start creating in your life! ❤️

Much love to you,

Amber
