Welcome back to Money Monday! 💵

I am so excited that you are here! 😃

Lately I have been immersing myself in all things money, and I have really enjoyed working my way through Amanda Frances' Money Mentality Makeover course that I bought a few years ago.

Amanda Frances teaches a nine-step process for changing your money mindset, and it all boils down to identifying the limiting beliefs that you have around money and choosing to see money differently.

Actually, creating change in any area of your life is as simple as changing your perspective.

Your thoughts determine the kind of reality that you see and experience.

I've been playing with writing down any funky thoughts I have about money that I learned from my parents and society.

If you have 10 minutes to write down a handful of heavy thoughts that you consistently have about spending money, saving money, making money, or getting out of debt, I invite you to write those down.

Maybe you think that you'll never get out of debt or that making money is hard or that you'll never have enough money to do all of the things you want to do or that you can only save or spend money (but not both) or that you have to figure out where more money is going to come from...

Any thoughts that make you feel anxious or heavy when you think them are not true for you.

Now you have an exciting opportunity to flip these limiting money beliefs!

I will flip some of the money beliefs that I've had in the past so that you can see how the process is done:

Limiting Belief #1- I don't deserve to have all the things I want.

New Perspective- I am absolutely worthy of all of my desires! These desires wouldn't have been placed in my heart if I wasn't meant to have every single one of them. My desires are valuable guidance, and I can trust them. Life gives me all of my desires at the perfect timing.

Limiting Belief #2- I can either spend money on things I want or save money for things in the future (like vacations, a lakehouse, and retirement).

New Perspective- Money is constantly replenishing itself in my life. When money flows out, more of it flows in. I'm in this beautiful dance with money where I send it out into the world to be transformed into the food that I eat, the comforts that I enjoy, and the gifts that I share with others. Money loves me, and it always returns to me in greater proportion than when it left. I have more than enough money to save and to spend.

Limiting Belief #3- I have to figure out how to get the money to buy all the things I want to have.

New Perspective- Life loves to surprise me! There are a million and one different ways that money could come to me, and I can't possibly know how life wants to surprise me. It is only my job to ask for what I want and to stay open so that the Universe (or God) can provide. The "how" is not mine to figure out.

I hope you'll take a little time to flip your own limiting beliefs around money to thoughts that feel better when you think them.

You might not believe the new thoughts right away, but if you keep reminding yourself of the truth each time you think the heavy money thoughts, your beliefs and your experience of life will begin to change little by little.

Then you can really have a lot of fun playing with money!

You will realize that money always wanted to be your friend- not a source of worry, stress, and anxiety.

I've had so much fun talking with you about money today, and I can't wait to hang out with you again on Friday! 😀

Much love to you,

Amber
