Happy Friday! Ready for some weekend fun? 😀

I received texts after my last letter (Make the Best of It), and it sounds like it was exactly the letter that you needed to read this week if you are finding your way through a challenging situation.

I thought I would dive a little deeper today into what you can do when you feel really stuck in a situation and making the best of it is just not something that you're able to do in this moment.

Maybe you're in the thick of it, and your mind can't find the thoughts to make the best of it.

When big things like this come up, I always turn to one of my favorite spiritual teachers for inspiration and encouragement.

Today I'm bringing Abraham Hicks back into our discussion, because Abraham has a way of bringing ease and grace to situations in life that seem very overwhelming.

Abraham says, "The stuckness that you feel [is the result of how] you have become more than you're letting yourself go to."

When you feel stuck in a stressful set of circumstances, it's often because you aren't allowing yourself to be fully engaged in your life and to allow the kind of change that life wants to gift you to help you release limiting beliefs that are keeping you from living your best life.

Contrast that pops up unexpectedly in our lives snaps us out of the unconscious ways that we've been living and helps us to clarify our real priorities and our most important values.

Often, we are living our lives according to someone's playbook, and stressful circumstances snap us out of our usual ways of looking at our lives so that we have a fresh new perspective and an opportunity to make new choices towards the things we value most.

The pain you feel when you are going through an uncomfortable situation is simply the resistance that you have to the situation.

For some reason (maybe a fear of change or the unknown), you are not allowing yourself to go with the flow of life and to allow the contrast to bring new possibilities into your life.

What if this challenging situation has entered your life because it is the only way that you will allow yourself to let go of things that are no longer serving you?

What if contrast is your best friend because it is helping you to become crystal clear about the kind of life that you want to be living?

Is it possible that you've been living on autopilot and life is gifting you the opportunity to live more fully and on purpose?

Staying open to life is the quickest way to get unstuck from a challenging situation.

When you feel your walls and barriers coming up around you to resist life (you'll know the feeling because it feels like crap), see if you can consciously picture those walls lowering so you can allow life to give you whatever solutions you are looking for.

Your mind will often think that it can figure out the perfect solution if you can just think long enough and hard enough about a problem, but that just keeps you in resistance.

Clearing your mind by breathing deeply (here), observing your thoughts (here), grounding yourself (here & here), and meditating (you can find tons of meditation videos on YouTube) is the fastest way to release resistance.

Once your mind is calm, how can you start making peace with where you're at?

What can you find to enjoy about life as you go through this challenging situation?

Looking for anything at all to love about your life allows you to go with the flow of life more quickly.

Abraham likes to use the analogy of life being like whitewater rafting.

Your job is to put down the oars and let life carry you downstream to everything you are wanting in life.

So many times, we pick up our oars and turn our raft upstream so that we are paddling against the current of life.

We think struggle is the way to get to everything we are wanting, but there's a much easier way to get there.

It starts with dropping your oars (making peace with where you're at) and letting life carry you to something better.

Yes, there will be choices to make and actions to take, but they will feel inspired and light rather than heavy and full of struggle.

Think of all the times you've encountered a challenge before.

You may have felt like there was no way out of it, but then as you lessened your resistance over time by finding other things to focus on or by grieving the transition, you were able to work your way through it and come out the other side.

How do you want to feel when this situation is resolved or when you come out the other side of it?

Relieved, free, empowered, peaceful?

Your inner guidance knows how to lead you to these emotions and what inspired action will help you get there.

I would encourage you to put down your oars, lower your walls and barriers, release your resistance, and allow life to assist you.

You are not in this alone, and you don't have to figure it all out.

Allowing is where it's at- allowing your well-being, allowing the solutions to come to you, allowing abundance into your life, allowing peace to wash over you, allowing yourself to be free...

It's about trusting that life has your back and moving from a place of fear into love.

If you can ground yourself anytime you are feeling fearful, you will feel supported by the earth and by everything in it.

When you feel supported, it is so much easier to trust and let life flow in whatever way it wants to.

Everything in the universe is conspiring on your behalf.

Will you release your resistance today and allow life to work everything out in your favor?

Your practical tool for today is to lighten up.

Allow more ease into your life.

Relax more.

When you notice that you are struggling with something, ground yourself and let it go.

Drop those oars.

Breathe.

Go for a walk.

Do something fun.

Create something beautiful.

Laugh at anything and everything.

Pet your cat or dog.

Read a good book.

Watch a movie.

Dive into one of your hobbies.

Plan a vacation.

Anything you can do to lighten up and not take life so seriously will allow life to take you downstream to the life of your dreams.

Feel better a little bit at a time.

Baby steps...

Enjoy the journey along the way by finding things to appreciate and stay open to new possibilities.

What exciting possibilities is life trying to deliver to you today?

Keep your heart and mind open to find out.

I love you, and I hope this letter has been an encouragement to you! 💗

I'll "see" you again next week!

Much love to you,

Amber
