Money Monday is here again!
With Christmas less than two weeks away, I thought it would be helpful to discuss the topic of gift giving.
Do you get stressed out around the holidays as you realize how much money you're spending on Christmas presents for your loved ones?
Money keeps flowing out, flowing out, flowing out, and you hope it will flow back in again.
Lucky for you, money is always flowing to you from every direction.
When you're focused on all of the good things in your life, you're like a money magnet.
You can imagine that an unlimited supply of paper money is attracted to you and stuck all over your body like a thick money suit (when you are in the receiving mode and not blocking it with your umbrella).
You'll know you're in the receiving mode when you feel like life is good.
You don't have to worry about all of the money that's flowing out because so much is flowing in even when you can't see it in this very moment.
An easy way to stay happy, light, free, and grateful during this gift-giving season is to be mindful each time you buy a gift.
Rather than mindlessly buying all the gifts and gift cards just to check Christmas shopping off your to-do list, I invite you to slow down for a minute as you're purchasing each gift and think about what a blessing it will be to the person who will receive it.
Think about how much you love that person and how happy you will be to see the smile on his/her face when they open your gift.
Feel your heart opening and infusing that gift with so much love.
That's really what this season is all about- LOVE .
It isn't about the presents, the lights, the songs, or the food.
It's about spending time with the people you love and gifting them with your presence.
YOU are the greatest gift of all to your loved ones.
Your love means more to them than even the most expensive gifts.
So as you're buying gifts, see if you can do so from a space of love, joy, and gratitude instead of obligation, stress, and heaviness.
It will make the shopping and gifting process so much more fun, and your loved ones will feel the difference.
More than anything, they just want YOU this holiday season- the bright, beautiful, joyful being that you are at the core.
Can you open your heart and give them that?
I am opening my heart and sending you so much love and light as you celebrate this holiday season in whatever ways are meaningful to you.
I'll see you on Wednesday!
Much love to you,
