Are you excited to talk about the fun that we can have with spending money?
Yesterday I was reading the book Prosperity Consciousness (one of my favorites!), and it is all about being in the energy of gifting and receiving with money.
When you go to spend money, does it feel like you are losing money or like you are gifting money?
What would it be like if you could go shopping and do so with the thought of gifting each of the employees in that store with financial abundance as they gift you with valuable products or services?
Would you be willing to receive that much ease and joy with money?
When someone wants to gift you a free coffee, flowers (thank you, Nidia!), a free meal, or a free trip to Mexico (thank you, Mom & Dad Kissler!), are you willing to receive it?
Are you willing to allow others to gift to you?
I have to admit that I am still working on this myself.
It is easy for me to receive from certain people like my dad (thank you, Dad, for all that you've given us!) but harder to receive from other people.
If your friend offers to pay for something, do you accept their offer with gratitude or do you decline because you feel like you are taking something from them?
I sometimes feel this way.
I would never want to take abundance from anyone.
However, I have to remind myself how money works.
When money is spent, it increases when it flows back to the spender.
So when someone gifts to you, they will receive more money back in delightful and surprising ways than they spent on your gift.
You can think about this when you pay your taxes this year.
If you are open and willing to receive, the money you send to the government will increase and return to you in beautiful ways.
Each time you spend money, you can be so grateful for how money is supporting you, you can be so thankful for all of the people that you are sharing your abundance with, and you can get excited about that money returning to you in a greater amount than the amount you are spending.
How much more fun could you have with money if you functioned from this space of gifting and receiving- this gentle flow in and out?
Money is always, always, always here to support you.
Money loves you and wants nothing more than to bless you and those around you.
You get to decide how you want money to support you, and it will always show up if you allow it to.
