Happy Halloween! ๐ŸŽƒ

Ready to have some fun tonight? ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Today's letter is short and sweet. ๐Ÿ’œ

We're going to be talking about something that I've been really aware of in my own life recently.

I've come to the realization that I tend to turn everything that I'm doing into a job- whether it be working out, homeschooling the kids, grocery shopping, being a wife, or even engaging in my hobbies.

I have this magical ability to turn something neutral or fun into pure drudgery. What a gift, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anytime I notice myself trying to get something perfect, I know that I am approaching that task as work rather than as a potential source of fun and pleasure.

Think about the things that you do throughout a typical day.

Are you actually having fun doing them or are you approaching them as a serious job to be done? ๐Ÿคจ

The question is, how can you bring more enjoyment and a new perspective to everything that you do throughout the day?

Chad likes to have music playing in the background of his life to make everything from working out to doing house projects to being at work a lot more enjoyable.

What can you do to make each item on your to-do list more fun?

How can you add more pleasure to grocery shopping, to unloading the dryer, or to your time spent at work?

Can you add a dance party to the mix while you unload the dishwasher?

Can you listen to your favorite music or podcast while you unload the dryer?

Can you give yourself more time for each task on your list so you can really be present and more aware of opportunities for fun in the moment?

That is your tool for today.

See how many activities in your life can be flipped from "work" or "a job to be done" to fun and relaxed with no pressure for perfection.

I would love to hear how you add more fun to everything that you do!

Until next time...

Much love to you,

Amber
